The Society of Ibero Latin American Medical Professionals (SILAMP) is offering a new scholarship for Hispanic students in Health related fields. The purpose of this scholarship is to assist and facilitate the Delaware Valley Hispanic youth in the pursuit of their health related careers.
The winner of the scholarship shall receive a $1,000 award.

The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) Foundation Scholarship Program is pleased to announce its 2010 offerings, available exclusively to AANP members. The deadline to acquire application materials is October 22, 2010. The application submission deadline is October 25, 2010.

AACN and AfterCollege award two (2) $2500 scholarships every quarter to students who are seeking baccalaureate, master's or doctoral degree in nursing. The next deadline is October 31, 2010. RWJF New Careers in Nursing Scholarship Program
UMDNJ - School of Nursing is pleased to be among the first institutions in the nation to receive funding from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) through RWJF New Careers in Nursing Scholarship Program. Through this program, scholarships in the amount of $10,000 each will be distributed to second degree, entry-level nursing students in our accelerated BSN program (offered in both Newark and Stratford, NJ) during the 2009-2010 academic year. Award preference is given to students from African American and Hispanic backgrounds, groups which are underrepresented in nursing.
