Nursing Scholarships, Eligibility: Current UM-Flint student enrolled in the BSN program in good academic standing.
Submit:1. Complete application form, signed and dated (typed or written legibly in ink);
2. Essay outlining your desire to participate in travel;
3. Demonstrated volunteer service to the school/department (i.e., Student Government, Student Nurses Association, Class Officer, committee member, etc.)
4. Priority given to the following:
a. Travel awards for students enrolled in or scheduled to travel in international nursing courses;
b. Travel awards for students enrolled in or scheduled to travel nationally for a service learning nursing course;
c. Scholarships for students who have demonstrated significant local service to the nursing profession or community.
5. Service award are merit-based and applicants can be full-time or part-time students.
Application Deadline: June 1, 2010 Fall Semester 2010
February 18, 2011 Spring/Summer 2011 Semester
