Nursing Scholars, sponsored by Vanguard, provides merit-based scholarships of up to $10,000 to minority students pursuing studies in business, finance, economics, accounting, information technology or the liberal arts. To be considered, the student must be a racial minority, be entering their senior year of undergraduate study in the fall of 2010, be enrolled full-time in a four-year accredited college or university in the United States, and have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. The student must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident of the United States.
Deadline: The 2010 postmark deadline to submit the application was November 30, 2009.
